LDS Lawmaker Disputes Jansa's Budget Shortfall Estimate
Ljubljana, 9 March - Milan M. Cvikl, the LDS lawmaker and shadow finance minister, disagrees with the assessment of PM Janez Jansa that the budget will have an unexpected shortfall of SIT 70bn (EUR 292m) this year. This is a crude, wrong estimate, indeed public finances are in better shape than planned, Cvikl told the press on Wednesday.
