Ljubljana, 10 March - Below is a schedule of events for Friday, 11 March:
LJUBLJANA - The draft declaration on the guidelines for Slovenia's activity in EU institutions and the country's priorities in the Council of the EU in 2005 are to be discussed by the parliamentary foreign and EU affairs committees (9 and 10 AM, respectively). (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Speaker of Austrian Parliament Andreas Khol is to be received by PM Janez Jansa (10:30 AM) and President Janez Drnovsek (11:45 AM) on the last day of his official visit here. Khol is also due to meet heads of deputy factions (9 AM) and hold a separate meeting with head of the largest opposition party, Liberal Democrats (LDS), Anton Rop (10 AM).
LJUBLJANA - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to host a press conference to speak about his recent visit to the US, his plans for next week and topical issues; at 12:15 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The president of the opposition Liberal Democrats (LDS) and deputy faction leader Anton Rop is to speak to the press at 11:30 AM to assess the new government's first 100 days in office. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The opposition United List of Social Democrats (ZLSD) is to assess the new government's first 100 days in office at a news conference at 1 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The leader of the New Slovenia (NSi, a member of the ruling coalition), Andrej Bajuk, is to comment on the government's first 100 days in office; at 6 PM.
LJUBLJANA - The government commission dealing with open issues concerning religious communities is to hold its first session. A press release is expected to be issued after the meeting, which begins at 1:30 PM.
PORTOROZ - A two-day conference on electronic registry is to begin at 9:45 AM, with attendance from several European countries and Minister of Interior Affairs Dragutin Mate.
GORNJA RADGONA - Pomurski sejem, the company running the Gornja Radgona fair grounds, is to present the 18th fair of construction and building materials "Megra" to the press at 11 AM (from 5 to 9 April).
PORTOROZ - The 14th Slovenian Advertising Festival (SOF), the biggest event gathering domestic advertisers, is to close at 9 PM with an award-winning ceremony, with the main award being that for the advertising agency of the year.
MARIBOR - Austrian bank Kaernter Sparkasse is to present to the press its new branch to be opened in Maribor at a press conference scheduled for 1 PM.
NOVO MESTO - Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak is to open an annual agriculture fair in Novo mesto at 11 AM, to run until 13 March. Prior to that, the minister is to outline the ministry's economics policy at a meeting hosted by Novo mesto Mayor Bostjan Kovacic.
KIEV, Ukraine - Culture Minister Vasko Simoniti is to wrap up a two-day visit to Ukraine, where he is attending the Council of Europe's ministerial conference on media policy.
