Former Finance Minister: Deficit to Remain as Planned
Ljubljana, 11 March - Dusan Mramor, the former finance minister, is convinced that this year's budget deficit will remain at SIT 112bn (EUR 467m) as planned. Responding to the prime minister's claim that this year's budget was short of SIT 70bn (EUR 292m), Mramor said the figure reflected additional money desired by individual ministries. He believes the sum could be slashed by at least SIT 23bn (EUR 95.9m).
