The Parliament of Slovenia spent the whole of August on holiday, while the Government took only a few days off. Slovene party leaders also withdrew from the public for a short period of time, but at the end of the month leaders from the right side of the political spectrum sat at a round table to discuss a common candidature at the pending municipal elections.
