Weekly Review of Events Involving Slovenia from 12 to 18 March
Ljubljana, 19 March - The centre-right government of Janez Jansa marked its first 100 days in office without celebration, but by informing the public that it had assessed the situation across the departments as left behind by its predecessor. The first to present the results were the ministries of justice and labour. The week was also busy on the foreign policy front. The country hosted the presidents of Uzbekistan and Serbia, while its foreign minister visited Moldova in his capacity as OSCE chairman and parliamentary delegation held talks in Serbia-Montenegro. Slovenian officials responded with regret to the EU's decision not to launch entry talks with Croatia as planned on 17 March.
