Planica: Ingebrigtsen Best in Trial Round
Planica, 19 March - Norway's Tommy Ingebrigtsen set the longest distance in this morning's trial round at Planica. Despite calm conditions on the hill, Ingerbrigtsen produced a jump of 226 metres, 5.5 metres more than second-placed Andreas Widhoelzl of Austria. Adam Malysz of Poland was third with a jump of 220 metres. Slovenia's best was Robert Kranjec, who landed at 217 metres to share fifth with Germany's Georg Spaeth. The first round of today's World Cup meet begins at 10 AM local time.
