Planica: Hautamaeki Snatches Sixth Straight World Cup Win

Planica, 19 March - Matti Hautamaeki of Finland snatched victory from Austria's Andreas Widhoelzl in Saturday's ski-flying meet at Planica, for his sixth straight World Cup win. Hautamaeki flew 219.5 metres and produced a perfect landing in the second round for a total of 436.6 points, a mere 0.1 points more than first round leader Widhoelzl. Bjoern Einar Romoeren was third after picking up 10 places with a second round best jump of 228.5 metres. Slovenia's best was Rok Benkovic in seventh place.
