Central Bank Will Adjust to Stability Pact Changes
Ljubljana, 21 March - Bank of Slovenia Governor Mitja Gaspari was reluctant to comment on the reform of the EU's stability and growth pact, which the EU finance ministers confirmed late on Sunday. "It is not the central bank's task to assess and comment this; it will adjust to the new circumstances appropriately, but always with the emphasis that stability is its foremost concern," Gaspari said on Monday.
