EU Questions Suitability of Slovenia's Carbon Tax Exemptions
Ljubljana, 22 March - The European Commission is skeptical about certain tax exemptions granted under Slovenia's CO2 emissions tax, and has decided to initiate a formal investigation. The Slovenian authorities had until Tuesday to submit comments, which they have done according to Nives Nared, a state undersecretary at the Environment Ministry.
