BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan - FM Dimitrij Rupel, the incumbent OSCE chairman, is to visit Kyrgyzstan to discuss the current crisis there with the interim Kyrgyz leadership. (STA)
SLOVENSKA BISTRICA - The president of the EU's Committee of the Regions, Peter Straub, is to complete a two-day visit by meeting Minister of Local Self-Government and Regional Policy Ivan Zagar, and attend a panel on local and regional democracy. A statement to the press at 10:00 AM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The government is to hold its weekly session, discussing a government-sponsored bill on the registration of same-sex partnerships, changes to the bill on institutions, and a decision to establish a council for business-friendly administration. A press conference in scheduled at 2 PM. (STA)
MORAVSKE TOPLICE - The Slovenian-Croatian standing commission for road transport is to conclude a two-day session in which it is discussing what has been dubbed the "hauliers row". Conclusions are to be presented at a news conference at 12:30 PM. (STA)
KRAGUJEVAC, Serbia-Montenegro - Slovenian transport company Viator&Vektor is to sign a contract with Serbia's Zastava vozila on the purchase of its subsidiary Zastava Sped, at 15:30. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's largest insurer, Zavarovalnica Triglav, is to present its business results and plans at a news conference at 1 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The share of agriculture in GDP and other agriculture figures are to be presented by the national Statistics Office at 10:30 AM. Inflation figures for March are also expected to be presented. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The board of the association of retailers at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) is to discuss activity regarding the introduction of tolar/euro price tages at a session scheduled for 10 AM.
LJUBLJANA - UNIDO director general Carlos Magarinos is to visit Slovenia upon the invitation of Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak. He is to meet several politicians and business people, including President Janez Drnovsek.
LJUBLJANA - Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Janez Drobnic is to meet Macedonian Ambassador Iljaz Sabriu at 3 PM to discuss further activities towards a bilateral agreement on adoptions and employment of seasonal workers.
SLOVENSKA BISTRICA - Minister of Local Self-Government and Regional Policy Ivan Zagar is to speak to the press about the state of affairs at his office at 10:15 AM.
LJUBLJANA - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to hold a news conference to asses the state of affairs at the ministry at 2 PM.
LJUBLJANA - The Stele awards, conferred by the Slovenian Association of Conservators for achievements in the field of maintaining and protecting cultural heritage, are to be presented at noon.
