Bishops Say John Paul II One of the Greatest Popes in History

Ljubljana, 2 April - Pope John Paul II was one of the greatest popes in the history of the Church, Slovenian bishops wrote in a statement at the Pope's death. "His death saddens us, but in faith and confidence in God, we express immense gratitude that in His providence He has given him to us in the decisive period of the previous century".
