PM Says Slovenia Will Always Remember the Pope with Gratitude

Ljubljana, 3 April - Slovenia will remember Pope John Paul II with great gratitude, Prime Minister Janez Jansa said in a special statement on Sunday. "We will never forget his support in the most critical times for Slovenia, his early international recognition of the new Slovenian state, his respect for the language and his two visits to our country that marked the transition to the new millennium," Jansa said.
