Culture Minister Delays Cabinet Vote on Public Broadcaster Bill

Ljubljana, 6 April - Culture Minister Vasko Simoniti has decided to discuss the bill on the public broadcaster with the trade union and management of RTV Slovenija before putting it to the cabinet. The move follows strong protests amidst concerns that the new bill would weaken the autonomy of the broadcaster's journalists and editors.
