Culture Minister Promises Changes to Public Broadcaster Bill

Ljubljana, 8 April - Culture Minister Vasko Simoniti said his ministry would be making changes to the controversial bill on the public broadcaster after meeting with representatives of the Slovenian Association of Journalists (DNS) on Friday. A number of Slovenia's leading journalism experts, meanwhile, today kept up the criticism of the bill in a special press conference staged at the Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences.
