Ljubljana, 11 February - PRIMORSKE NOVICE: HONG KONG? - If the information is correct that Bonn has decided to intervene in Slovenia with a "Marshall plan" and that Germany "actually plans to place Slovenia under supervised administration" and change the Koper port into a kind of "German Hong Kong" on the Adriatic, which the prominent and influential Milan daily, the Corriere della Sera, published, then this has to be taken seriously, writes Vitko Kogoj. He warns that Italy has sounded the alarm bell and that two unfavorable trends are coinciding: the obvious German economic expansionism on all fronts and the no less obvious signs of a bad Italian economic and political crisis.
