Many of Pope's Calls Went Unheard, Paper Observes

Koper, 9 April - The Pope's calls to reduce poverty, write-off debts of the world's poorest countries, fight against famine and increase the importance of the third world have gone unheard despite a number of his credits on the political scene, a paper comments on calls made by Pope John Paul II that failed to bear fruit.
