Ljubljana, 10 April - Below is a schedule of events for Monday, 11 April:

TIRANA, Albania - OSCE Chairman, Slovenia's Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to visit Albania to hold meetings with President Alfred Moisiu, Prime Minister Fatos Nano, Foreign Minister Kastriot Islami, and the leader of the opposition Democratic Party Sali Berisha. He is also due to take part in a round-table debate on 2005 elections and a Slovenian-Albanian business forum. A statement for the press is scheduled for 4:45 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Heads of deputy factions are to hold a meeting with the speaker at noon to determine the agenda of the regular April session of parliament, due to open on 18 April.

LJUBLJANA - The chair of the parliamentary counter-corruption commission Barbara Zgajner Tavs is to meet Janet Ley, US Deputy Director for Government Affairs & Special Projects. A statement for the press is scheduled for 2 PM.

GORIZIA, Italy - The mayors of Slovenia's Nova Gorica and Italy's Gorizia, Mirko Brulc and Vittorio Brancati, are to hold a joint press conference at 11 AM to present the project Interreg Sabotin, a park of peace, and joint celebrations of the first anniversary of Slovenia's accession to the EU.

PORTOROZ - The 6th annual conference on public procurement is to begin at 10 AM (until 12 April).

LJUBLJANA - The shadow cabinet of the opposition Liberal Democrats (LDS) is to hold a session at 10 AM.

CRNOMELJ - Economics Minister Andrej Vizjak is to pay a working visit to the southern Slovenian region of Bela krajina.

LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Trade is to hold a meeting on Slovakia's flat tax rate model at 2 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The Association of Free Trade Unions (ZSSS) is to speak to the press at noon about the Bolkestein directive on services in the internal market.

LJUBLJANA - The Transport Association at the Chamber of Commerce is to hold a press conference at 11:30 AM to discuss problems faced by hauliers.

NOVO MESTO - Pharmaceutical company Krka is to hold a press conference at 1 PM to speak of first quarter operating results and plans for this year.

MARIBOR - Insurer Zavarovalnica Maribor is to outline its 2005 business plans at a press conference scheduled for 11 AM.

VENICE, Italy - A group show "Zones of Transit" is to open at the Slovenian A + A Gallery at 6 PM.
