Ljubljana, 11 April - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 12 April:
LJUBLJANA - The OSCE chairman, Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to hold a press conference at 9 AM (STA).
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary foreign policy committee is to convene at 1 PM to discuss a report on the activity of the OSCE chairman, Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel. Another, closed-door session will be dedicated to confidential government matters.
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk is to join his counterparts from the EU for a regular monthly session. The agenda is expected to be dominated by budgetary and economic situation in the EU, the EU's financial arrangements for the 2007-2013 period and guidelines for national growth and development programmes.
LJUBLJANA - A visiting delegation of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, headed by its vice-chairman Chen Kuiyuan, is due to hold talks with President of the National Council Janez Susnik (10 AM) and members of the parliamentary group for amicable relations with China. Meetings with President Janez Drnovsek (3 PM) and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel (5:10 PM) are also scheduled.
SZENTGOTTHARD, Hungary - A delegation of the parliamentary commission for Slovenians abroad is to begin a three-day visit to Hungary to hold talks with representatives of the Slovenian minority and the Hungarian government.
LJUBLJANA - US Ambassador Thomas Robertson and the head of the Corruption Prevention Commission Drago Kos are expected to sign an agreement on cooperation between the commission and the US Office of Government Ethics at 2 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The executive board of the Chamber of Commerce (GZS) is to gather at 2 PM to unveil a strategic plan of the GZS reform and debate draft annual report for 2004.
LJUBLJANA - Public Administration Minister Gregor Virant and the chairman of the flag carrier Adria Airways Branko Lucovnik are to sign a contract under which Adria Airways will provide services for the the government on scheduled flights between Ljubljana and Brussels. A statement for the press is to follow the signing at 1 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The Radioactive Waste Agency (ARAO) is to speak to the press about the selection of a location for a low and medium radioactive waste repository; at 10 AM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning is to host a panel on climate changes and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions; at 10 AM.
PORTOROZ - The 6th annual conference on public procurement is to wrap up.
LJUBLJANA - Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Janez Drobnic is to speak to the press at 2 PM to present changes to the legislation dealing with war victims, disabled war veterans and war graves.
MARIBOR - Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek is to visit Maribor. A press conference is scheduled for 1 PM.
LJUBLJANA - The Tourism Association of Slovenia and the Association of Free Trade Unions (ZSSS) are to hold a panel on security in tourism at 10 AM.
NOVO MESTO - Insurer Zavarovalnica Tilia is to present operating results for 2004 and plans for 2005; at 11 AM.
LJUBLJANA - A press conference ahead of Capital 2005, the annual meeting of financial experts, to be held between 20 and 21 April; at 10 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The NGO Skuc is to host a panel themed "Homosexuality and Employment" at 8 PM.
LJUBLJANA - A press conference ahead of the 11th annual Exodos festival (5 to 3 May); at noon.
LJUBLJANA - The Liberal Academy is to announce Golden Bird laureates at a press conference scheduled for noon.
