The proportion of declared Slovenians within the total population of Slovenia falls
Ljubljana, 11 February - According to the Slovenian Institute of Statistics, Slovenia had 1,962,606 permanent residents in 1991, which is 4.4% more than ten years ago. The annual level of growth is only 0.4%, which is more than 50 percent less than within 1971-1980 period. This is a consequence of the decrease in natural and migratory population growth.
