Ljubljana, 21 April - Below is a schedule of events for Friday, 22 April:
LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to meet for an extraordinary session at 10 AM to debate Romania and Bulgaria's entry into the EU, and conduct a general debate on the government-sponsored bill on the public broadcaster. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The Bank of Slovenia is to present its economic and monetary forecast for Slovenia at a press conference scheduled for 10 AM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary committee on EU affairs is to meet behind closed doors at 2 PM to discuss the forthcoming sessions of the EU council on agriculture and fisheries (26 April), and the council for general affairs and external relations (25 April).
BUDAPEST, Hungary - Interior Minister Dragutin Mate is to take part in a meeting of interior ministers of the Salzburg Group, which brings together Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia and Poland.
PORTOROZ - A two-day summit of the the European organisation of small and medium companies (EUAPME) is to begin as part of the 9th Days of Slovenia Trade. A news conference at 12:30 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Janez Drobnic is to meet representatives of disabled war veterans at 9 AM to try and find common ground on the government-proposed amendments to the act on disabled war veterans.
LJUBLJANA - The government commission for the resolution of open issues faced by religious communities is to meet. Justice Minister Lovro Sturm and head of the Office for Religious Communities Drago Cepar are to give statements for the press at 4 PM.
LJUBLJANA - Ivan Zagar, the minister of local self-government and regional policy, is to meet the press at noon to outline open issues related to the funding of municipalities.
LJUBLJANA - The Intellectual Property Office is to talk to the press at 11 AM ahead of World Intellectual Property Day.
LJUBLJANA - The Agency for the Environment is to speak about earthquake risk in Slovenia and marking Earth Day at a news conference scheduled for 11:30 AM.
LJUBLJANA - A concert of traditional Indian music by Lalit&Peter Szalai is to open Days of Indian Culture in Ljubljana; until 26 April.
