Govt Exempts Emission Traders from CO2 Tax

Ljubljana, 21 April - The government has adopted a regulation which exempts companies that are included in the EU's carbon trading system from paying the CO2 tax. In the absence of such a regulation, these companies would be double taxed, according to Environment Minister Janez Podobnik.
