RIBNICA NA DOLENJSKEM - The national ceremony marking Resistance Day, a national holiday, is to take place near Ribnica in the SE region of Dolenjsko at 11 AM, with PM Janez Jansa as key-note speaker. (STA)

SLOVENSKE KONJICE - Defence Minister Karl Erjavec is to take part in a ceremony marking Resistance Day at noon, organised by the municipal section of the association of WWII veterans.

LJUBLJANA - Slovenia will be among NATO members and Partner countries taking part in INTEX 05, an exercise aimed at setting up a network of international centres for data exchange on accidents involving radiological, chemical and biological substances.

LJUBLJANA - Due to the bank holiday, the Slovenian stock market will be closed. Trading is to resume on Thursday.
