Primorski Dnevnik on Desecration of WWII Memorial

Trieste, 28 April - The desecration of a WWII memorial near the Italian border was a barbaric attempt to dishonour this historical symbol and grieve the families of the victims burried there. This pathetic nocturnal habit is all too familiar to the Slovenian ethnic minority in Italy, for almost every Slovenian monument or symbol has been desecrated in some way, writes today's Primorski dnevnik.
