OSCE Can Help Countries Fight Violence Against Women, Rupel Says
Paris, 28 April - Attending a two-day workshop on preventing violence against women, FM Dimitrij Rupel, the OSCE chairman, has said the burden of responsibility for fighting this phenomenon rests on individual countries. The OSCE, meanwhile, can act as a promoter of global efforts to root out such violence, Rupel said.
