LJUBLJANA - Irish Foreign Minister Dermot Ahern is to pay a visit as the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan's special envoy for Europe and an advocate of the UN reforms. He is to hold talks with Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, with the two to give a statement to the press at 9:45 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - EU Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs Joaquin Almunia is to meet members of the parliamentary committees for economic affairs and finance at 10 AM, before concluding his two-day visit.

SKOPJE, Macedonia - Speaker France Cukjati is to meet Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski, PM Vlado Buckovski and representatives of deputy groups before wrapping up his two-day visit to Macedonia. He is to give a statement to the press at 11:30 AM. (STA)

VIENNA, Austria - A second round of the "consensus conference", aimed at finding agreement between the Slovenian minority and the Austrian authorities on the erection of bilingual signposts in the province of Carinthia, is to resume. The meeting is to begin at 1:30 PM. (STA)
