Ljubljana, 6 May - Below is a schedule of events for Saturday, 7 May:

LJUBLJANA - On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII, STA will release two interviews in which historians Bozo Repe and Joze Dezman speak about developments in Slovenia during and immediately after WWII. (STA)

AJDOVSCINA - The municipality of Ajdovscina is to mark 60 years since the first post-WWII Slovenian government was formed at a special ceremony beginning at 4 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - A ceremony marking the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII, and the liberation of Ljubljana in Kongresni Square; addresses by Mayor Danica Simsic (12:45 PM) and the head of the Association of WWII Veterans Janez Stanovnik (1:15 PM). (STA)

LJUBLJANA - A conference on Croatia's bid to join the EU to be attended by EU ambassador to Slovenia Erwan Fouere, former Croatian FM Miomir Zuzul and Croatian Ambassador to Slovenia Mario Nobilo. A news conference is scheduled for 3 PM.

BUDAPEST, Hungary - A two-day conference of parliamentary speakers from EU members and the European Parliament, attended by Slovenia's Speaker France Cukjati, is to end. Cooperation among national parliaments and their role in the EU is in the focus.

LJUBLJANA - A pro-marijuana rally, organised by the Students' Organisations, is to take place in Tivoli Park from 3 to 10 PM. "Million Marijuana March" is part of a campaign joined by over 200 cities around the world.
