Weekly Review of Events Involving Slovenia from 7 to 13 May

Ljubljana, 14 May - Although economic topics grabbed the headlines this week, notably the adoption by the government of the 2005 supplementary budget, the political scene was by no means dull. Debates thus continued over the proposed bill on public broadcaster RTV Slovenija, while speakers at many ceremonies marking the anniversary of the end of WWII voiced appeals for reconciliation and the removal of the post-war events from the daily political agenda.
