Slovenia supports the decision of the UN Security Council
Ljubljana, 22 February - The republic of Slovenia supports the decision of the UN Security Council to start peace operations at the critical regions in the territory of former Yugoslavia. Such was the statement of the Slovenian foreign minister dr. Dimitrij Rupel commenting the adoption of the resolution of the Security Council on the arrival of the UN peace keeping forces. Dr. Rupel stressed the fact, that Slovenia as an independent and internationally recognized country is very interested for the successful implementation of the UN peace operations. It is ready to enable the passage of the UN peace keeping forces and equipment through its territory.
