Erjavec Elected DeSUS Leader
Ljubljana, 20 May - The junior coalition Pensioner's Party (DeSUS) has elected Karl Erjavec its new leader. Erjavec, the Defence Minister in the Janez Jansa government, got 113 of 182 votes to beat out defence studies professor Anton Bebler (33 votes) and head of a local party branch Mirko Miklavcic (36 votes) in Friday's congress in Ljubljana.
