AARE, Sweden - FM Dimitrij Rupel is to attend a two-day security forum of NATO's Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council. NATO and Partnership ministers are to discuss hot spots in Central Asia and the Balkans as well as Partnership cooperation.
BUDAPEST, Hungary - The head of the government Office for Slovenians Abroad Franc Puksic is to attend the 8th session of the Slovenian-Hungarian standing commission in charge of monitoring the accord on rights of the Slovenian and Hungarian ethnic communities.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Education Minister Milan Zver is to attend the last day of an EU Council for Education, Youth and Culture session on guidelines for growth and employment in the 2005-2008 period within the overhauled Lisbon Strategy.
LJUBLJANA - The new State Prosecutor General Barbara Brezigar is to present her team at a news conference at 12 AM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary commission for Slovenians abroad is to meet at 2 PM to discuss how the media report on Slovenians abroad. A meeting of Slovenians from around the globe to be hosted by the National Assembly on 7 July is another item of the agenda.
LJUBLJANA - A memorandum of understanding on voluntary repatriation of migrants is to be signed at 2:30 PM by Interior Minister Dragutin Mate and Argentina Szabados for the International Organisation for Migration.
POCEK - President Janez Drnovsek and PM Janez Jansa are to inspect the Clever Ferret 2005 military exercise of the Multilateral Land Force, gathering Slovenia, Italy and Hungary. Drnovsek and Jansa are to speak to the press at 1:45 PM.
LJUBLJANA - Tali Rosenbaum and Ran Ichay of the Isreali Ministry of Science and Technology, who are on a visit here from 23 to 15 May, are to meet Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Jure Zupan in order to restart bilateral cooperation in science and technology, which faded after 2002.
PORTOROZ - A three-day conference on modern public administration, organised by the Ministry of Public Administration, to resume at 10 AM.
LJUBLJANA - A debate on the problem of drugs in Slovenia is to be staged at 10 AM by the National Council and the Office for Drugs.
LJUBLJANA - A news conference is to be held at 1AM, upon the merger of two insurers, Slovenica and Adriatic. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The 13th annual "Bologna after Bologna" show, featuring books shown at the Bologna Children's Book Fair, is to open, to run until 28 May.
