Rushdie's "Satanic Verses" Comes out in Slovenian

Ljubljana, 25 May - Seventeen years after its publication, Salman Rushdie's controversial "Satanic Verses" has come out in a Slovenian translation. The delay may be attributed to the fact that Rushdie's "Midnight Children" and "The Moor's Last Sigh" are simply better novels, the book's editor Tina Kozin told the press on Wednesday.
