Ljubljana, 29 May - Below is a schedule of events for Monday, 30 May:

VIENNA - OSCE Chairman and FM Dimitrij Rupel is to meet the provisional President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev. On this occasion, Rupel is to address the OSCE Permanent Council. A press conference with Rupel and Bakiyev is scheduled for noon. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The Euro-Atlantic Council of Slovenia and the Association for International Relations are to host a lecture by President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Pierre Lellouche. Entitled "Today's NATO and its Future", the lecture is to take place at 5.30 PM.

LJUBLJANA - Columbian Foreign Minister Carolina Barco is to arrive on an official visit to Slovenia in the afternoon. On Tuesday, Barco is scheduled to meet FM Dimitrij Rupel and Speaker France Cukjati.

BRUSSELS - The EU Agriculture Ministers are to adopt a political agreement on the funding of the common agriculture policy at their regular monthly session. Crisis management in agriculture is also on the agenda. A Slovenian delegation headed by Agriculture Minister Marija Lukacic is to attend the meeting.

BUDAPEST - The 6th conference of attorneys general of the Council of Europe is to begin. State Prosecutor General Barbara Brezigar and Supreme State Prosecutor Silvij Sinkovec are to attend the two-day conference, which is to be opened in the Hungarian parliament by the Hungarian President Ferenc Madl.

LJUBLJANA - A delegation led by the State Secretary for Education and Research Charles Kleiber of the Swiss Interior Ministry is to conclude its two-day official visit to Slovenia. The delegation is scheduled to meet Science Minister Jure Zupan and State Secretary Janez Mozina.

LJUBLJANA - A press conference is to be held at 11.30 AM to present the results of the Politbarometer opinion poll. (STA)

VELENJE - A four-day 7th conference of Slovenian electric energy experts is to begin, organised by the Slovenian Electric Energy Association and the Slovenian committee of the International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE). A press conference is scheduled for 10.00 AM, to be followed by the official opening at 3.00 PM.

PORTOROZ - A two-day conference on non-discrimination and the rights of the disabled, organised by the Labour Ministry, is to begin at 9.50 AM. The participants are to be addressed by head of the Slovenian Council of the Organisation of the Disabled Persons Boris Sustarsic and the EU ambassador to Slovenia Erwan Fouere.

LJUBLJANA - A press conference by the Institute of Public Health on Tobacco-Free Day. The institute is to present measures to control tobacco use in Slovenia and the results of a pilot survey on health workers and tobacco; at 11 AM. (STA)
