Lellouche Says NATO's Future in Hands of US, Europe as Well

Ljubljana, 30 May - President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Pierre Lellouche has linked NATO's future to the EU constitution, which the French rejected on Sunday. He said one of the paradoxes of the French referendum was that the opponents criticised the constitution as being too "Euro-Atlantic". "Now that the referendum failed, we have just NATO and no European defence policy."
