De Hoop Scheffer: Isolation Is Not an Option

Ljubljana, 31 May - NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer stressed that national borders no longer secure safety, since terrorism and weapons of mass destruction exceed them. NATO can succeed by making the right decisions, that is, to avoid isolation, he said in a lecture he delivered on Tuesday at the Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences.
