Ljubljana, 31 May - Below is a schedule of events for Wednesday, 1 June:

VIENNA, Austria - Transport Minister Janez Bozic is to attend a meeting of transport ministers from countries that signed the Central European Air Traffic Service (CEATS) agreement.

LJUBLJANA - The first meeting of an advisory group for foreign policy at the Foreign Ministry. The group, set to meet once a month, comprises foreign policy experts, former foreign ministers, as well as representatives of the parliament and journalists; at noon.

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary commission for budget and public finance oversight is to look into the proposed pension reform and its impact on the euro adoption programme and the supplementary budget for 2005; at 10 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary committee on culture, education and sport is to carry out the second reading of the bill on public broadcaster RTV Slovenija at a session scheduled to start at 10 AM.

ZAGREB, Croatia - A delegation of the parliamentary commission for Slovenians abroad is to wrap up a two-day visit to Croatia. Meetings with representatives of the Slovenian minority and the Croatian parliament are scheduled. (STA)

KARLSTAD, Sweden - The 3rd NATO conference on the drafting of non-statutory instructions and minimal standards in civil protection against radiological, chemical and biological weapons. A delegation of the Slovenian Civil Protection and Disaster Relief Administration is to attend the three-day conference.

LJUBLJANA - President Janez Drnovsek is to decorate US Congressman James L. Oberstar with the Golden Order of Merit in International Diplomacy for his services to Slovenia; at 11 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The deputy group of the opposition Social Democrats (SD) is to talk about regions and local government at a press conference at 1 PM.

LJUBLJANA - President Janez Drnovsek is to receive the credentials of newly-appointed Thai Ambassador Adisak Panupong at 12:30 PM.

BRNIK - A consultation on the development of aviation tourism in Slovenia is to be organised by the Aerodrom Ljubljana airport operator at 2 PM. To be followed by the official opening of a new parking facility.

SLOVENJ GRADEC - Prevent, a maker of car-seat covers, is to comment on current issues at a press conference scheduled for 10 AM.

BAD GLEICHENBERG, Austria - Local and regional politicians are to attend the traditional forum of the euroregion NE Slovenia - Styria, among them Maribor mayor Boris Sovic and head of the directorate for tourism at the Economics Ministry Marjan Hribar.

PORTOROZ - The final day of a marketing conference entitled "First Year in the EU - How Did the Marketing Strategies Stand the Test?", organised by the Slovenian Marketing Association in cooperation with the business daily Finance.
