Ptuj to Host Show on First Slovenian Translation of the Bible
Ptuj, 2 June - A library in the northeastern town of Ptuj will host an exhibition of the first Slovenian translation of the Bible. Holy Scripture was translated by Protestant priest Jurij Dalmatin (around 1547 to 1589) and published in 1584. The show "Dalmatin's Bible", accompanied by a number of events, will open on Thursday.
