Ljubljana, 2 June - Below is a schedule of events for Friday, 3 June:

CIRKULANE - A meeting of the Slovenian-Croatian permanent commission on border transport and cooperation. The agenda includes a review of the work of subcommittees, and, possibly, a debate on the latest border incidents. A statement for the press is scheduled for 3 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The deputy groups of all four coalition parties (SDS, NSi, SLS, DeSUS) are to stage a press conference at 10:30 AM to present their views on the bill on public broadcaster RTV Slovenija. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The first parliamentary inquiry commission in this parliamentary term, looking into the work of public prosecutors, is to hold its maiden session at 9 AM. A statement for the press is scheduled after the session. (STA)

ZAGREB, Croatia - FM Dimitrij Rupel is to address an international conference entitled "Southeast Europe on its Way to the EU", organised by the Bertelsmann Foundation in cooperation with the Croatian government. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Minister of Higher Education, Science and Sport Jure Zupan is to meet with Croatian Minister of Education, Science and Sport Damir Karpljuk. A memorandum of understanding between the two ministries is to be signed on the occasion ; at 1:30 PM. (STA)

LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - Justice Minister Lovro Sturm is to attend the final day of the regular meeting of the EU Justice and Home Affairs Council.

LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - Andrej Brucan is to attend the second day of the meeting of EU ministers in charge of employment, social policy, health and consumer protection.

TUZLA, Bosnia-Herzegovina/PRISTINA, Serbia-Montenegro - Defence Minister Karel Erjavec is to visit the members of the Slovenian Armed Forces taking part in the peacekeeping missions in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo.

LJUBLJANA - Minister of Higher Education, Science and Sport Jure Zupan is to present measures for the implementation of the 2006-2010 national research programme and the Bologna Process; at 9:30 AM.

LJUBLJANA - A press conference at 11 AM ahead of the 61st congress of the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF), to take place in Ljubljana between 5 and 11 June.

LJUBLJANA - Culture Minister Vasko Simoniti and Ljubljana mayor Danica Simsic are to sign a contract whereby the city will sell the building housing the Slovenian Cinematheque to the state; at 12:30 PM.

PORTOROZ - The final day of the 12th conference of Slovenian insurers, where debates revolve around the topic "Europe without Boundaries?".
