Despite Progress, Anti-Trafficking Efforts Underfunded, Says Ambassador
Ljubljana, 3 June - Slovenia has made progress in fighting trafficking in persons, yet the US State Department's latest report still places it in tier 2, among countries that fail to fully comply with minimal standards in this field. According to US Ambassador Thomas B. Robertson, this is because the anti-trafficking efforts were not receiving consistent budget support.
