Persak on Political Role of Intl PEN ahead of Bled Congress

Ljubljana, 7 June - The 71st world congress of International PEN, to be held at Bled between 14 to 21 June, will feature some of the world's leading authors of younger generation. According to Tone Persak, the head of Slovenian PEN, the congress will be attended by Arto Paasilina of Finland, Peter Beagle of the US and Mahmoud Darwish, the leading Palestinian poet.
