Science Commissioner Warns Against Research Spending Cut

Luxembourg, 7 June - Slovenia's European Commissioner Janez Potocnik has warned EU member states against cutting funds for science and research. Potocnik, who heads the European Commission's Department for Science and Research, told the EU council on Tuesday in Luxembourg that this would be bad for EU development plans.
