Number of Mountaineering Accidents Rises in 2004

Ljubljana, 8 June - The number of mountaineering accidents rose last year by 12% to 300, the Mountain Rescue Service said on Wednesday. Moreover, the number of persons injured in mountain accidents rose by 3%, the head of the service Toni Smolej said.
