Ljubljana, 10 June - Below is a schedule of events for Saturday, 11 June:

TEHARJE - A national remembrance ceremony is to be held for victims of the post-WWII killings at the Teharje Memorial Park at 11:00 AM. President Janez Drnovsek is expected to be the key-note speaker. (STA)

BLED - A two-day meeting of speakers of parliament from the regional partnership gathering Slovenia, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, hosting speakers from several SE European countries, is to wrap up. A press conference is scheduled for 12:20 PM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary committee for EU affairs is to hold a closed-door session to discuss the upcoming meeting of the European Council.

CELJE - The council of the ruling Slovenian Democrats (SDS) is to meet for its maiden session to elect the deputy leaders and the secretary of the party. SDS leader and Prime Minister Janez Jansa is expected to speak to the press after the session.

PODLJUBELJ - A memorial ceremony commemorating the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camps and the end of WWII will be held in what was once part of Mathausen concentration camp in Slovenian at 11:00 AM.

LJUBLJANA - The 61th congress of the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) is to wrap up at the Cankarjev dom arts centre with a general assembly. New FIAF leadership and locations of the forthcoming congresses are to be selected.

MARIBOR - The international opera singers competition "Ondina Otta" 2005 is to wrap up in the Slovenian National Theatre Maribor with a concert of finalists and an award ceremony at 7:00 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The first section of the Mladi levi (Young Lions) contemporary dance and theatre festival is to begin in the Old Power Station venue with a piano concert performed by Bojan Gorisek and Milko Lazar.

LJUBLJANA - Sympathisers and members of the Social Democrats (SD) are to hold a traditional meeting in Ljubljana. Party president Borut Pahor is to address the participants at 4:00 PM.

VRSIC - The third stage of the Tour of Slovenia, a 133 km climb-fest between Italy's Tarvisio and the Vrsic mountain pass in NW Slovenia. (STA)
