Tour of Slovenia: Italy's Mercato Wins Second Stage

Ljubljana, 10 June - Italian rider Marco Mercato has won the second stage of the Tour of Slovenia. Mercato was the strongest in the sprint to the finish line of the 171 km stage from Medvode to Austria's Villach. He beat out compatriot Rugger Marzolini, with Mexico's Juan Aranda Magallanes finishing third. Marzoli keeps first place in the overall standings.
