MONDAY, 13 June
        LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - EU foreign ministers, among them Slovenia's Dimitrij Rupel, are holding a regular monthly meeting to discuss preparations for the EU summit on 16 and 17 June and topical international issues.
        LONDON, Great Britain - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, the incumbent OSCE chairman, is set to begin a two-day visit to Great Britain in the evening by meeting representatives of the Slovenian community and companies operating there.
        LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to convene the 7th regular session.
        LJUBLJANA - Together Foundation is set to present an international conference themed "Prevention of Violence against Children in Regions Affected by Armed Conflict and Social Adversities" and projects it carries out in Iraq and North Ossetia.
        LJUBLJANA - A press conference ahead of the 71st annual International PEN Congress, to be held at Bled between 14 and 21 June.
        LJUBLJANA - A delegation of Egypt's Transport Ministry headed by Minister Esam Sharaf is to pay a working visit here.
        LJUBLJANA - Petrol retailer Petrol is to hold a press conference after signing a contract under which a majority share in the company's restaurants division Petrol Gostinstvo will be sold to Marche of Switzerland.

TUESDAY, 14 June
        LONDON, Great Britain - FM Dimitrij Rupel is scheduled to meet Foreign Secretary Jack Straw and as OSCE chairman discuss the role of the this security organisation in central Asia at Chatham House.
        BLED - The 71st annual International PEN Congress is to get under way with a reception for participants.
        LJUBLJANA - The council of Klinicni center is expected to appoint a new director general of the Ljubljana central hospital.
        LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Commerce Transport Association is due to hold a session.
        LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Commerce is set to present its public services in education at a press conference.
        LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Science Foundation in association of the Austrian Science and Research Liaison Office in Ljubljana is to hold the 4th Noordung Forum themed "Citizens and the Lisbon Strategy".

WEDNESDAY, 15 June
        GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany - OSCE chairman and Slovenia FM Dimitrij Rupel is to deliver an address at the George C. Marshall Centre for European Security Studies.

        LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary foreign policy committee is to hold a session a part of which will be held behind closed doors.
        LJUBLJANA - A press conference by Human Rights Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek.
        BLED - The opening ceremony for the 71st International PEN Congress, to be followed by the first of the round-table debates, themed "Tower of Babel - a Curse or a Blessing?".
        LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Commerce is to hold a press conference to discuss the impact of legislation on the economy's competitive ability.
        LJUBLJANA - Ljubljanske mlekarne, Slovenia's leading dairy, is to talk about its plans at a press conference.

THURSDAY, 16 June
        BRUSSELS, Belgium - EU leaders will met for a summit to find a way out of the crisis in the aftermath of the double "no" vote on the constitution. They will also attempt to reach an agreement on the EU's budget framework for the 2007-2013 period. The meeting, which is expected to last for two-days, is to be attended by Prime Minister Janez Jansa and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel. Ahead of the summit, Jansa is due to take part in the meeting of leaders from the ranks of the European People's Party (EPP).
        LJUBLJANA - The government commission on religious communities is to debate outstanding issues between the state and the Evangelic Lutheran Church.
        LJUBLJANA - The European Pool against Organised Crime is to convene a two-day meeting. Opening address by State Prosecutor General Barbara Brezigar and Justice Ministry State secretary Robert Marolt.
        LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Commerce Tourism and Catering Association is to hold a session to debate the Sunday closure of shops in tourist centres, camping sites and marinas.
        LJUBLJANA - The Association of Employers organises a seminar on the implementation of the Lisbon Strategy in Slovenia.
        LJUBLJANA - Minister of Health Andrej Brucan is to speak to the press about the construction of a new children's hospital in Ljubljana.
        LJUBLJANA - The RTV Slovenija Council is to hold a session to debate repeating a call for applications to fill the post of new director general of the public broadcaster. Other items, such as audited operations report, are also on the agenda.
        KAMNISKA BISTRICA - A ceremony to commemorate WWII victims from Montenegro.
        LJUBLJANA - A two-day panel discussing ethics in medicine is to get under way.
        CELJE - An exhibition of Japanese contemporary art is to open at the Gallery of Contemporary Art.

FRIDAY, 17 June
        LJUBLJANA - Serbia-Montenegro Defence Minister Prvoslav Davinic is to pay an official visit here.
        LJUBLJANA - The National Council is to hold a session to present its position on the government-proposed bill that would strip the president of the upper chamber of his salary. At half-term, the councillors are also expected to elect new leadership of the Council.
        LJUBLJANA - The Bavarian-Slovenian Association is to hold a ceremony to mark its 10th anniversary.
        ROGLA - Justice Minister Lovro Sturm is to take part in Days of Slovenian Judiciary.
        BRDO PRI KRANJU - The Ministry of Justice organises a panel and training on pending denationalisation cases for civil servants working on denationalisation procedures.
        RIBNO PRI BLEDU - the Ljubljana-based NGO Peace Institute is to hold a two-day seminar on the role of NGOs in combating discrimination.

SATURDAY, 18 June
        LJUBLJANA - The association of students from Bosnia-Herzegovina BH4 and Bosniak association Biser will organise a charity concert for Srebrenica children and a ceremony to mark the 10th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide.
        BREZJE - The 37th annual pilgrimage of the sick, disabled and elderly to Brezje, Slovenia's best-known pilgrimage site.
        LJUBLJANA - Ljubljana museums and galleries will be open free of charge well into the night as part of the "Summer Museum Night" event.
        GORISNICA - Slovenia are to play against Portugal in the return leg of the qualifying round for the 2005 women's World Championships in Russia.

SUNDAY, 19 June
        IG - The Civil Protection and Disaster Relief Administration, in association with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, organises a course on civilian and military coordination in humanitarian operations, to be attended by officials from various countries and international organisations (until 24 June).
        BLED - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to host a reception for International PEN Congress participants.
