LONDON, Great Britain - FM Dimitrij Rupel is scheduled to meet Foreign Secretary Jack Straw (noon) and as OSCE chairman discuss the role of this security organisation in central Asia at Chatham House (5:30 PM). (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Parliament is to debate the 2005 supplementary budget starting at 2 PM; a total of 15 hours of debate is scheduled. In the morning, lawmakers are to amend the act on public assembly. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek is hold talks with PM Janez Jansa and hand over the Ombudsman's report on the state of human rights in 2004. A press statement is scheduled for 10:30 AM. (STA)

BLED - The 71st annual International PEN Congress is to get under way with a reception for participants at 9 PM. A press conference is scheduled for 6 PM.

LJUBLJANA - The council of Klinicni center is expected to appoint a new director general of the Ljubljana central hospital at a session which starts at 9 AM. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The supervisory board of the National Farmland and Forest Fund is to review the 2004 annual report and discuss the alleged irregularities in the sale of farmland.

LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Commerce is set to present its public services in education and professional standards at a press conference at 1 PM.

SANKT PETERBURG, Russia - Minister of the Environment, Energy and Spatial Planning is to attend the Petersburg International Economic Forum, which runs until 16 June. The forum is to examine economic growth and quality of life in the face of globalisation.

LJUBLJANA - A public debate on victims of post-WWII violence is to be organised at 6 PM by the Slovenian Democrats (SDS) commission for victims of war violence.

LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian Science Foundation in association of the Austrian Science and Research Liaison Office in Ljubljana is to hold the 4th Noordung Forum themed "Citizens and the Lisbon Strategy". Starts at 10 AM.

LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's Red Cross is to hold a conference on blood donation upon World Blood Donor Day; at noon.
