Bishop Ernisa Proposes Church Tax

Ljubljana, 16 June - The leader of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Slovenia has proposed introducing a contribution for religious communities. Under the proposal Bishop Geza Ernisa presented on Thursday, taxpayers would allocate a fixed part of their income to a religious community of their choice, or alternatively to a humanitarian organisation.
