Ljubljana, 17 June - Below is a schedule of events for Saturday, 18 June:
LJUBLJANA - A feature ahead of Slovenia's first year in the ERM II is to be released. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The opposition Social Democrats (SD) are to present their shadow cabinet, dubbed the council of the SD president, at 11:30 AM. (STA)
CELJE - The Slovenian Pan-European Movement is to hold its annual meeting, to discuss the current situation in the EU. The meeting, to begin at 11 AM, is expected to be attended by president of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SAZU) Bostjan Zeks, MEP Romana Jordan Cizelj and Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel.
BREZJE - The 37th annual pilgrimage of the sick, disabled and elderly is to be held at Brezje, Slovenia's best-known pilgrimage site. A mass at 10:30 AM is to be given by Slovenian Metropolitan and Archbishop of Ljubljana Alojz Uran.
SABOTIN - Koper Bishop Metod Pirih and Gorizia Archbishop Dino de Antoni are to hold a mass at 10 AM on the hill of Sabotin on the Slovenian-Italian border, to mark the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII. Speaker of Parliament France Cukjati is to hold a speech after the mass.
BLED - The 71st International PEN Congress is to continue with the assembly of the congress delegates.
LJUBLJANA - The association of students from Bosnia-Herzegovina BH4 and Bosniak association Biser are to organise a charity concert for Srebrenica children and a ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, to begin at the arts centre of Cankarjev dom at 7 PM.
LJUBLJANA - Ljubljana museums and galleries are to be open free of charge well into the night as part of the "Summer Museum Night" event.
GORISNICA - Slovenia are to take on Portugal in the return qualifying game that will decide which of the teams will play at the 2005 women's World Handball Championships in Russia; at 5:15 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The "golden generation" of Slovenian football players, who took the team to the 2000 Euro and the 2002 World Cup and are slowly retiring from active playing, are to play an exhibition game against UNICEF All Stars which includes Zvonimir Boban, Robert Prosinecki, Slaven Bilic, Alen Boksic, Aljosa Asanovic and Predrag Mijatovic; at 9 PM.
