Opposition Official Expresses Regret About Failed EU Summit

Ljubljana, 18 June - The main opposition party has expressed regret over the failure of EU leaders to find agreement on future spending in the bloc. The Liberal Democracy (LDS) is also disappointed that Slovenia failed to join a number of other newcomers who offered to settle for a cut in development aid in order to salvage an agreement on the 2007-2013 EU budget, Milan M. Cvikl said.
