President Says EU Crisis May Be Necessary

Ljubljana, 21 June - "The EU may need this crisis, this reconsideration, for it has been developing by inertia lately," President Janez Drnovsek said in a TV interview on Tuesday. He is convinced that the enlargement process has ground to a halt, but it is by no means over.
