Ljubljana, 24 June - Jan Benzien of Germany emerged on top in the C1 qualifying round of the 6th European Slalom Racing Championships on Friday. In the women's K1, Austria's Violetta Oblinger finished first ahead of Elena Kaliska of Slovakia.
